Alacrity

Upon searching for a name for this blog, I came across this new (or rather old; its history dates back 500 years) gem: Alacrity. According to Merriam Webster, it is “a quick and cheerful readiness to do something.” It sounds like a value Ignatius preached over and over. It is with zeal and love that we should do all things, for the Greater Glory of God. Such passion, in my opinion, is the ideal mindset. And it is with such passion that I hope to write for the foreseeable future. Whether it’s about my personal life, the Cardinals, Harry Potter, life at SLU, or whatever else comes up, I strive to write with alacrity.
